In 2019, I embarked on a project to create my own mountain bike from scratch. The blueprint included a Chromoly 4130 steel frame with a 130mm rear travel and a 150mm front fork. The goal was to challenge myself by designing a bike, learning TIG welding, and building it without any prior experience or guidance. While I couldn't complete the entire bike, I successfully finished the frame design. I studied over 50 mountain bike geometries to determine the ideal angles, lengths, and suspension styles that would match my riding preferences.
