However, current first aid and trauma kits lack integration in the sport, leading to poor usability and insufficient treatment for traumatic injuries. Existing products need design improvements like repackability, waterproofing, and clear directions for navigating challenging situations.
Materials
The Human Repair Kit is composed of 210D Dyneema Gridstop with .6 oz/yd Ripstop Nylon with a PFC-free DWR treatment. The product features a quickclot bandage, trauma sheers, two large gauze pads, medical tape, sutures, duct tape, and safety pins and can be used as a split or sling.
